Role

Responsibilities
  • Dataset Acquisition: Utilize open-source Computed Tomography (CT) image datasets relevant to kidney stones. Curate a diverse and comprehensive dataset to ensure robust model training
  • Model Development: Implement deep learning models and train the model using the acquired dataset to enable accurate detection and classification of kidney stones.
  • Validation Techniques: Employ stratified K-fold cross-validation to rigorously evaluate the model's performance, ensuring its robustness and reliability across various subsets of data.
  • Grad-CAM Integration: Implement Grad-CAM to visualize and interpret the deep learning model's decision-making process. This will enhance transparency and provide insights into the areas of interest within CT images.
  • Expert Verification: Develop a system for expert validation, where healthcare professionals can review model outputs to verify and validate the results. This step ensures the integration of human expertise for a comprehensive and accurate diagnosis.
