About the job and it’s activities

About

Performance Subsystem is a Technology Engineering department dedicated to global operations, the main objective will be to develop the best design of oven cavity and related components for products in Food Preparation (Cooking Platform) line. All analyses will be focused on optimizing the design (directly through components design or indirectly through requirements setting) of the subsystem that drives energy delivery (Air, Water, Mw, Heat, Gas) to achieve product leadership in all cooking platforms. The team is formed by Electrical/Electronic and Mechanical Engineers who work together to develop the best solution for our projects.

Working hours

Monday to Friday, - 8:00 am - 5:00 pm
Responsibilities
  • Electrical/electromechanical components design and development and support integration in product systems through prototypes, laboratory tests activities, following internal and regional normative standards through tools like FMEA, SBD
  • Support benchmarking activities, experimentation, and data analysis through structured approaches (6 Sigma, Opex)
  • Support intellectual property creation
  • Deliver cost and quality targets, support cross-functional activities, and component prioritization
  • Follow tryouts and builds, prepare quick prototypes
  • Prepare presentations about the projects.
  • Support the development of subsystems for Engineering projects related to cooking appliances
  • Leverage strong collaboration with other teams (e.g. mechanical, food scientists, EES, procurement, manufacturing, service, quality) and project partners during project development
