About Volante Systems

Volanté Systems was founded in 2004 by a group of University of Waterloo Computer Science graduates. What began as a three-person basement project has developed into an industry-leading POS system with a team of over 100 employees in its Toronto, Ontario-based office. From the beginning, Volanté’s point-of-sale software has evolved based on customer requests and requirements and has continuously demonstrated its ability to be flexible, scalable, and reliable in various venues' most rigorous and unpredictable environments.

Responsibilities

[Remote/Physical] Research and User Analysis: Conduct user research and analyze user feedback to understand the target audience and their needs.
[Remote/Physical] Design: Create user interfaces and design assets that are visually appealing, user-friendly, and consistent with the brand.
[Remote/Physical] Prototyping and Testing: Develop interactive prototypes to demonstrate functionality and user flows. Conduct user testing sessions to gather feedback and make iterative design improvements.
[Remote/Physical] Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and other stakeholders, to ensure design goals are met.
