Role
Responsibilities
- Policy and regulatory analysis: monitor, analyze and report towards the team and internal customers current and emerging public policy issues with focus on Responsible Technology, in particular content regulation & safety, as well as policy support for the Health & Life Science vertical.
- Strategic planning: Facilitate prioritization and focus on identified key areas of policy cooperation and provide continuous support to the management of the team in building internal strategy and planning to timely address and exploit engagement opportunities at the national and EU level. Supporting coordination of high-level political engagements and Microsoft executive level visits.
- Project management: support and help develop new cross-boundary projects in collaboration with relevant domestic stakeholders, European Commission, European Parliament, think tanks, or trade association.
- Strategic communications: contribute to strengthening the synergies between domestic and European strategic communications efforts in support of Comms teams. Tasks could include drafting of content input to messages for both traditional and social media, pro-active idea-generation for campaigns, identification of communication opportunities etc.
- Attend external policy events and provide summaries/analysis.
- Research and Writing: support campaigning and senior staff with relevant research, by editing documents or developing support materials (e.g. briefing documents, conference support, decks, talking points).
- Support in organization of meetings and events – including working with the EGA Events team and/or external partners.
