Project
The project aims to contribute to SDG #4 by providing and opening space for quality education for people of all ages, ensuring educational opportunities from initial literacy to other subjects such as mathematics, science and languages.

Role

Project Activities

Week 1
Run the initial assessment needed for measuring the outcome/impact of the project
Run lessons English/Mathematics/Science/Computer/Sports
Onboarding space with partner representatives to understand the current scenario, beneficiaries and discuss about the outcome of the project
Introductory session with the beneficiaries, presentation of the volunteers and project objectives.
Week 2
Run lessons English/Mathematics/Science/Computer/Sports
model and support children in developing and extending their ideas, challenging thinking and constructing meaning
observe, document and reflect on children’s learning as a means of supporting dialogue
create & maintain an emotionally supportive and inviting learning environment in response to children’s ideas and interests
Week 3
model and support children in developing and extending their ideas, challenging thinking and constructing meaning
Run lessons English/Mathematics/Science/Computer/Sports
create & maintain an emotionally supportive and inviting learning environment in response to children’s ideas and interests
observe, document and reflect on children’s learning as a means of supporting dialogue
Week 4
Debrief the impact of the project, how the beneficiaries developed, discuss about what went well and even better if and include this in the report
Collect data from beneficiaries (you can use surveys, interviews, focus groups, etc.)
model and support children in developing and extending their ideas, challenging thinking and constructing meaning
observe, document and reflect on children’s learning as a means of supporting dialogue
create & maintain an emotionally supportive and inviting learning environment in response to children’s ideas and interests
Build final project report and presented to AIESEC members and NGO/non-profit representatives.
