The project aims to contribute to SDG #17 by building up the capacity of local NGO, non-profit organizations and/or foundations to contribute to social impact in their communities by collaborating with local social projects and engaging with grass-groot initiatives.

Project Activities

Week 1
Run the initial assessment needed for measuring the outcome/impact of the project
Introductory session with the beneficiaries, presentation of the volunteers and project objectives.
Onboarding space with partner representatives to understand the current scenario, beneficiaries and discuss about the outcome of the project
Realizará un diagnóstico preliminar de marketing, identificando fortalezas, debilidades y oportunidades de mejora en la comunicación institucional, redes sociales y posicionamiento de marca.
Con base en este análisis, comenzará a planificar una estrategia de marketing integral, definiendo objetivos, audiencias, canales clave y propuestas de contenido adaptadas al contexto de la ONG.
Create an implementation plan on how the project should unfold and determine materials to be used
Preparing the activities that will be done in the following weeks and receiving feedback from the partners and AIESEC
Week 2
El voluntario llevará a cabo una investigación más profunda sobre las tendencias de marketing social, las mejores prácticas en comunicación para ONGs y las estrategias efectivas de engagement comunitario
Diseñará una propuesta estratégica que contemple: Plan de comunicación y marketing digital (con objetivos, métricas y cronograma). Estrategias de storytelling y difusión de impacto social. Propuesta de alianzas comunicacionales con instituciones, medios o influencers locales.
La estrategia será presentada a la organización anfitriona para recibir retroalimentación antes de su implementación.
Build the Development Plan for the partner based on the data gathered and ask for feedback
Map out the competitors in the market and analyse what Good Case Practices can be taken from them
Gather feedback from existing partners to improve collaboration
Research potential new partners and interview them on the possibility of a partnership
Analyse the business model of the partner (current procedures, identity, gather data from past projects/campaigns etc)
Week 3
Además, elaborará un calendario de contenidos adaptado a las fechas y actividades más relevantes de la organización, asegurando una comunicación constante y efectiva.
El Voluntario Global desarrollará contenidos y materiales de comunicación para redes sociales, página web o campañas institucionales (publicaciones, videos, infografías, notas informativas, etc.)
Diseñará también plantillas reutilizables y una guía de estilo para que la ONG pueda mantener coherencia en su comunicación visual y narrativa.
Set up / Improve social media/website presence for the social impact project/campaign of the NGO
Create or improve the branding guideline for the project/campaign
Create or improve the Customer Flow for the partner
Workshop: Stakeholder mapping and management training with the partner
Create and prepare branding/networking events to improve the visibility of the partner
Week 4
Run online campaigns to boost visitors on the partner's main platform
Organize branding events to promote the partner
Apoyará en la creación y difusión de historias de impacto que muestren los resultados del trabajo de la ONG, fortaleciendo su credibilidad y atracción de aliados o sponsors
El voluntario colaborará activamente en la ejecución del plan de marketing, gestionando redes sociales, midiendo resultados de publicaciones, y apoyando en la organización de campañas o eventos de visibilidad.
También podrá liderar talleres internos para capacitar al equipo sobre el uso de herramientas digitales, fotografía, redacción o análisis de métricas.
Debrief the events together with the partner and create a follow up plan in order to boost social media and create the alliances and gather the investors/donators
Host an Open Doors Night for the community to better understand the partner's cause
Host different networking events to seek for alliances and possible investors/donators on the NGO social impact project/campaign
Week 5
Creará un manual de marketing sostenible, con pasos claros para continuar la estrategia después del intercambio (cómo planificar contenido, mantener la identidad visual y evaluar resultados).
De esta forma, se asegura la sostenibilidad y continuidad del trabajo realizado, dejando capacidades instaladas en el equipo local.
Develop a strategy for ongoing engagement with beneficiaries and stakeholders after the project's official end.
Reach out to the possible new partners and investors and schedule meetings in which to discuss the possibility of a collaboration
Conduct a strategy session with the NGO and partners to refine their social impact strategies based on the insights gathered throughout the project.
Run on-demand workshops/activities to tackle the partner's projects deficiencies
Conduct a training workshop focused on specific skills or knowledge areas for the NGO staff and volunteers, such as fundraising techniques, social media management, or impact measurement.
El Voluntario Global capacitará al personal de la organización en el manejo de redes sociales, herramientas de diseño, estrategias de contenido y métricas de seguimiento.
Week 6
Build final project report and presented to AIESEC members and NGO/non-profit representatives.
El voluntario participará en una jornada de cierre junto con la organización para compartir los logros alcanzados, las estadísticas de crecimiento y los aprendizajes del proyecto
Colaborará en la documentación final, recopilando los materiales creados, las estrategias implementadas, los resultados obtenidos (por ejemplo, aumento de seguidores, engagement o alianzas generadas)
Collect data from beneficiaries (you can use surveys, interviews, focus groups, etc.)
Analyse data to determinate outcome/impact results (level of awareness of beneficiaries post-project activities).
Finalmente, elaborará un informe de impacto comunicacional, destacando cómo las acciones realizadas fortalecieron la visibilidad, las alianzas y el desarrollo sostenible de la organización.
Debrief the impact of the project, how the beneficiaries developed, discuss about what went well and even better if and include this in the report
