About Lingotran Private Limited
Lingotran is a digital language learning platform built for structured curricula: IB MYP, IGCSE, CBSE, ICSE, PUC, and CEFR A1 through B1. Students use it to practise and reinforce what they are learning, through interactive, inquiry-based lesson sequences that teachers can assign in whatever way fits their classroom.
Role
Responsibilities
- • Spiral design across phases: Design progressions tracking complexity growth across phases in receptive skills, productive skills, text types, communicative functions, cognitive demand, ATL skill application, and intercultural awareness
- • Inquiry-based lesson architecture: Design inquiry-driven sequences where students encounter language in context, notice patterns, form hypotheses, test them, receive confirmation, and then apply
- Activity design with ATL integration: Select and sequence interactive activity types (matching, sorting, sentence-building, guided writing) ensuring ATL skills are developed through activity design
- Practice and reinforcement: Build drill sequences that revisit grammar structures, ensure vocabulary appears in progressively complex contexts, and create varied practice for retention
- Testing and iteration: Test content as a student would experience it, identify pacing issues, unclear instructions, and scaffolding problems
