About the job and it’s activities


Working hours

Monday to Friday, - 9:00 am - 5:00 pm

Main Responsibilities:

- Define and implement warehousing solutions to meet business targets in health, safety, environment, quality & service level, and productivity.

- Design work instructions and train and support workers.

- Participate in Value Stream Mapping and Kaizen initiatives within the assigned sector.

- Participate in SIM2 in warehouse operations and manage assigned actions according to agreed deadlines.

- Identify and propose improvements to warehousing solutions.

- Drive performance and optimization through continuous improvement by applying lean concepts.

Other Responsibilities:

- Ensure compliance with all quality, environmental, and safety requirements (ISO9001, ISO14001, OHSAS 18001).

- Follow up on and ensure compliance with 5S practices.

- Adhere to all relevant work instructions and procedures (e.g., SPS).

Responsibility and Autonomy:

- Influence the safety and ergonomics of operations.

- Enhance operations productivity.

- Promote continuous improvement.


- Ensure adherence to safety rules and regulations and address any safety issues.

- Continuously optimize the goods flow in the distribution center (DC).

- No authorization over resources, personnel, or sign-off authority.

- Financial impact on net DVC by DLP targets.

Competencies Required:

1. Education:

- Bachelors or Masters Degree in Supply Chain Management or Business Engineering.

2. Professional Experience:

- Minimum of 3 years of experience in logistics, manufacturing, continuous improvement, warehouse engineering, or project management.

3. Required Knowledge:

- Basic knowledge of transport, material management, and supply chain management.

- Extensive knowledge of lean management, warehouse management, and warehouse design.

- Fluent in spoken and written Dutch, English, and German are a plus.

- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Visio, Autocad, SAP or Oracle, and WMS.
